So when we left last week we knew our next project of many was to get the disk fixed. We knew one of the gangs was locked up and found out it was the front left. So let the fun begin. Taking it apart was the easy part, cleaning up the bushings of this 70 year old piece of farm equipment that hadn't been used in decades was the real "fun" part. But together we make a great team. We were able to get the gang unbolted (had to cut one bolt because it was stripped, which all in all isn't bad for how old it is). Got everything cleaned up and then the tedious job of getting everything to line back up took the longest. But we got it done! So next week we will run the disk through the field before planting.
